Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South African on 2 December 1981. She is an actress/model popular for her work in TV and film. Brandt had her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand an historical action drama. She started her acting career as a New Zealander who appeared on Diplomatic Immunity. In the last decade the actress has been featured in numerous TV series such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was originally from Cape Town South Africa, but moved with her parents in Auckland New Zealand in late teen years. Brandt began modeling in advertisements on television and in print. Before her rise to prominence as a model she worked in the field of retail sales and was also an information technology recruitment consultant. She landed her first featured role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the role as Leilani Fa'auigaese. Her first big appearance was in 2021. She was the character of slavegirl Naevia for the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The role of Naevia in the show was recast in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different show on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as an elusive demon called Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix successful show Lucifer. The most prominent role she has is the one she plays. In the series, she co-stars with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
